We have different gifts, according to the grace given to each of us. If your gift is prophesying, then prophesy in accordance with your faith; if it is serving, then serve; if it is teaching, then teach; if it is to encourage, then give encouragement; if it is giving, then give generously; if it is to lead, do it diligently; if it is to show mercy, do it cheerfully.

Romans 12:6-8

On Sunday we said farewell to Urbain, Ivanete, Rebeca and Jesse with a bit of a bring and share party vibe. We enjoyed a lovely spread, worship music and time to socialise and hang out together and celebrate some key members of our church family and they prepare to take their next steps in their journey.

We also had Urbain do a bit of a preach on Romans 12 and how we as children of God have been gifted and put in different situations to help bring glory to the Lord and make an impact how and where He intended for us to.

So without further ado, here’s Urbain’s final talk for now:

So I pray that each of us are able to confidently step into the role God has positioned us to play, with all the gifts He has equipped us with. He makes no mistakes, so ignore the self doubt, the comparison and negative self talk. Trust in Him and therefore yourself, and do what you have been called to do.
