We are passionate to see our community thriving with Jesus at the heart of every person and every place.
Starting at Barking Riverside we are joining God’s movement to bring life to the UK by multiplying disciples, raising up leaders, planting churches, and shaping communities.
The church is who we are, not where we go; a people not a building. People who are so in love with Jesus that we shape our lives around dependence on Him; who believe that if we can do this life without Jesus or one another then we’re missing the point.
People who are passionate about others because if Father God putting loving and empowering people at the centre of His plans then so do we. People who dream about the difference Jesus can make and who dare to invest ourselves with generosity, creativity and trust to see what Holy Spirit grows next.
Who are we?
We’re starting a new Christian community in Barking Riverside as part of the Church of England. What we mean by that is shaped by our belief that Church is who we are, not a place we go.
How can I get involved?
Now more than ever we have to depend on God, connecting together, and finding ways to love, pray and share hope.
We are committed to Safeguarding children and young people and vulnerable adults. We have adopted the Church of England’s policies and best practice on safeguarding which may be found on the Church of England’s website or on the Safeguarding pages of the Chelmsford Diocese
We currently function as part of the Minster Team with All Saints Woodford Wells and our Parish Safeguarding Officer is Fiona Green, who may be contacted by email firstname.lastname@example.org
