Local Help & Support

Did you know, there’s a lot of help, hope, and fun right on our doorstep?

Covid-19 and the various lockdowns affected all of us in different ways, both big and small. The good news is that many people and organisations across our community have been finding ways to care whether its through Faith & Hope, Wellbeing, Practical Help, and Community. It’s just we don’t always know where to look.

We’ve put everything that we know together on this page to help as many people as possible access the help that’s right here, in our Borough.  Please share with friends and let us know of anything we’ve missed!

This page came from a conversation as local people, of different faiths and those with no faith, who wanted to find ways to care for those around us.  We’re continuing to meet regularly to share ideas and encourage each other in making a difference. If you’d like to be a part of this, we’d love to hear from you. Please feel free to Get In Touch or Join Us at any time!

Lastly, a massive thank you to Emmanuel Oreyeni for our Community Help & Support visual – go check out his amazing art: @oreyeni.arts!
