Meet The Team Pt 3
We took a little break from this series last week to share details about United Breaks Out – we hope you enjoyed their amazing sessions as much as we did :).
This week we are introducing Jeorgina Soares & the Williamsons, who have been involved with the church from the very beginning.
Jeorgina Soares

I’m a mother of 4 wonderful boys, Prince (23) Jermaine (16) Kimani (13) and Marcanthony (11). I’m originally from Angola hence a Portuguese and English speaker. I graduated in Human Resource Management, am qualified as a community coordinator and Registered Ofsted Childcare Provider, multi- award winning Youth Coordinator and have many years of experience running a successful Community Interest Company. I am a co-founder of Triangoals based on LBBD and Triangoals Youth Football Club, with 7 teams secured from under 7 to under 13 in the Essex League. I have been part of the church since the initial stage of the consultation and I am happy to support and help as much I can possibly can.
Lockdown Hobby: I have been working on social media channels by creating a platform for the young people to come together and having a forum to discuss the issues affecting young people nowadays – collectively we can find a solution for them to tap into. To find out more email me at jeorginasoares10@gmail.com.
Martin & Sue Williamson

Martin Williamson
I have been married to Sue for forty years and we have three children and four grandchildren. I became a Christian at about 21 at a meeting for a drug rehabilitation charity at which Brother Andrew spoke. I have worshipped at All Saints Church Woodford Wells since 1977 when I moved to Woodford. I spent all my working life in the City, apart from 2 years in Botswana, in Finance and Insurance. I retired in 2013 and have been kept busy with both my work at All Saints and as a Trustee of Christian Education Project, a charity supporting schools in Redbridge and the surrounding Boroughs.
Lockdown Hobby: We usually enjoy walking, in the Lake District, & cycling. The above photo was taken in 2018 while we were cycling through Yorkshire on our way from one end of the country to the other. I have also used some of my lockdown time to tackle tasks in the garden which had been delayed. There is still more to do!
Sue Williamson
I became an active “Jesus supporter” in my teens and have been a member of a church ever since, in Southampton, Aberdeen and Reading in that order. Since marrying Martin in 1980 we have been attending All Saints Church Woodford Wells. We became involved with Church at Barking Riverside soon after we started monthly prayer walking on the site in 2018. We were challenged and excited by Sam & Anna’s vision to see Jesus at the heart of every place and person in the community.
Lockdown Hobby: We are parents and grandparents, sadly not being able to see them very much during lockdown. As well as engaging with family and friends I enjoy cycling, dressmaking, cooking and reading. During lockdown specifically, I have enjoyed cycling with Martin in the local countryside, as well as honing my cooking skills and trying new recipes.
So there we have it; we have introduced some of our incredible friends and team at Church at Barking Riverside to you 🙂
