Meet The Team Pt 2
We are continuing our blog series; ‘Meet The Team’, to introduce everyone that has been at the heart of our church thus far. This week we are introducing some active members of our church; the Staleys and Pullums who have been with us from the very beginning.
Maggie & Randall Staley

Maggie Staley
I’ve been walking with Jesus for 44 years so far and discover more of His love every day. I have two children married to amazing people and four grandchildren, all of whom bring great joy and delight into my life. I really felt God was at work initiating this church plant, so joined the team at the beginning. It is very exciting to see what Jesus is doing in this community. I help to plan the prayer walks and prayer evenings (which you can get involved in here).
Lockdown Hobby: Getting to know our neighbours through a Whatsapp group, weekly sing-alongs on Thursdays as we clapped for the NHS and three street parties this summer!
Randall Staley
I’m originally from Iowa, USA. But now a Brit! I came to London in 1973 for study at the Royal College of Music and became an opera singer. Following a singing career, I trained for Christian counselling, been involved in inner healing prayer ministry and conference speaking ever since. Church at Barking Riverside was an opportunity I didn’t want to miss! I help with prayer initiatives and seek to be of general support.
Lockdown Hobby: I’ve worked on the house and garden and, even managed to get a few paintings done.
James & Danielle Pullum

James Pullum
I was born in Colchester and moved to London in 2008 to start training at Central School of Ballet. I have two children, Arthur & Esther (Esther was born next to George Carey Primary School in our car) with my wife Danielle and we moved to Barking Riverside in 2018. Church at Barking Riverside has been part of our family lives since 2019 and it’s been great making such good friends. Danielle and I started Pullums Dance Academy in 2020 where we teach Dance at the Riverside Campus, for everyone in our community.
Lockdown Hobby: Reading – I’ve started to read lots of crime period dramas.
Danielle Pullum
I was born in Poole and left home at age 11 to train at the Royal Ballet School in London. After my training at Royal Ballet School I moved to Birmingham for a further 3 years of Dance training. During this time I met and started dating James Pullum. I then moved back to London to live with him. We were married in 2015 and now have two children Arthur and Esther. I danced in the West End Production of Phantom of the Opera for 8 years (recently closed due to COVID) and I also run Pullums Dance Academy at the Riverside Campus with James.
Lockdown Hobby: Going on Gruffalo trails with the kids!
